Scratch another name from the dwindling list of FSU recruit prospects. 6-foot-2, 200-pounder Mobile (Ala.) Davidson four-star DB Michael McNeil announced on Tuesday that he will be an Auburn Tiger.FSU had been aggressively pursuing McNeil."I love Auburn," said McNeil. "I love the atmosphere and they have one of the best programs in the nation."
McNeil chose Auburn after narrowing down his list to the Tigers, Florida State, Tennessee and Alabama.
"Auburn puts a lot of people in the NFL every year plus it's close to home. At Auburn I just feel at home with the players and coaches."
McNeil is rated the No. 8 safety in the country and No. 86 overall prospect.
