Tucker Out At Least Three Weeks

Florida State lost its closer, Luke Tucker, for at least three weeks to allow the junior to rest and rehabilitate his sore right shoulder.

This will put catcher Buster Posey on the mound as a closer as originally planned, but only for ninth-inning duty.

Newcomer Danny Rosen, still under consideration for the Sunday start against Tennessee, may instead be used out of the bullpen with Tucker unavailable.

According to Mike Martin," Tucker had some soreness and needed some rest,” Martin said. “He had a little twinge when he finished his delivery and hasn't been himself the last two outings (in practice). We decided to shut him down for three weeks and rehab his shoulder through an exercise program."
