Danny Rosen hasn't stopped impressing Florida State coaches since he stepped on the mound as a walk-on in August.
Rosen, who sat out last season at Miami-Dade Community College, struck out five UNC-Asheville batters in two innings of relief and allowed just one hit. He also picked up his first victory as a Seminole.
Rosen has allowed just two hits in 3 1/3 innings over two appearances
FSU has been dominating at the plate with 61 hits while outscoring opponents 49-17 in four games. But it has been FSU's defense that's pleased Martin the most. FSU didn't make an error in 110 chances against Tennessee to make it the first time the Seminoles went errorless in a season-open series.
With no errors on Friday FSU has played four consecutive games of errorless baseball in one season just three times since 1996.
Mike Martin kept his promise and gave D'Vontrey Richardson a chance to play in center field as a reserve. Richardson took an at-bat in the fourth and then went into center field the next inning.
