Clemson Designates FSU Game Solid Orange Event


The 70-year-old Orange Bowl is home to a University of Miami football team that is threatening to leave if Miami doesn't spend about $170 million to renovate the structure. The team is expected to make its decision in about 45 days.

The Labor Day opener on Monday, September 3 against Florida State has been designated by Clemson as "One Clemson...Solid Orange" event.

A month after joining the Duke staff as running backs coach and passing-game coordinator, Vaas was named offensive coordinator Tuesday. Vaas replaces Bill O'Brien, who left Duke two weeks ago to join the New England Patriots coaching staff.
