Noles Sweep Again

Ok, this is getting old. Not really. For the third straight game, Florida State (20-0) got a solid outing from its starting pitching as the Seminoles swept the three-game series from Indiana (4-7) blanking the Hoosiers 9-0 on Sunday afternoon at Dick Howser Stadium. Ryan Strauss (4-0) pitched a career-high eight innings while striking out a career-high eight batters as he limited Indiana to just three hits on the afternoon. Buster Posey provided the offensive bolt for the Seminoles as he went 3-for-4 with two RBI's and a run scored.

"You really have to credit Ryan Straus, he threw the ball very, very well today," stated head coach Mike Martin. "He hit his location very well, hit with the curveball and the change up. It was a very impressive outing for him today."
